This information may help you to understand the various elements of the PSC

PSC – Point of Single Contact

This term encompasses all elements of the systems that are being delivered to both applicants and authorities (National Regulators and Councils).

This term comes from the EU Services Directive itself and has been used to describe the project.

ELMS – Electronic License Management System

This term refers to the web pages authorities will use to access and manage completed online applications submitted by applicants in the UK or overseas.

UK Welcomes

This term refers to the UKWelcomes website that has been specifically created for overseas applicants who require information about doing business in the UK and enables them to submit applications to authorities online.

Businesslink.gov.uk

The entire PSC development is managed and supported by businesslink.gov.uk, the government website for UK businesses. This site enables UK applicants to submit applications to authorities online and it also hosts the UKWelcomes web pages.
